The Carlyle school choir was formed last October 2017 and is composed of 35 children from grades 3 to 5. Our school community reflects the multiethnic and multilingual community of the city of Montreal. The school welcomes all students, integrating them into regular classes while supporting them through a resource room model of special education. Our vocal group practices once a week during lunch hours and we all share one important element in common: a strong passion for singing. The children have chosen the song lost boy because they believe the lyrics foster individual differences and acceptance amongst one another, a very important theme at our School. Even though we are a vocal group, a few children insisted on playing the piano part and adding conga rhythms at the very end of the song. I hope you enjoy our video!
