Students from La Ronge Saskatchewan’s Churchill Community High School Garage Band 20 class didn’t have to travel far from their home of La Ronge, Saskatchewan to find the perfect location to shoot their entry for this year’s CBC Music Class Challenge. They roughed the afternoon low of -18 degrees and blowing snow to perform a version of Northern Lights (The Jerry Cans), arranged by grade eleven student Gracie Kuppenbender, for an audience of local sled dogs who were quite a captive (and curious) audience. Certainly deserving of a round of a-paws themselves!
