There's Nothing Holding Me Back Mashup - Stephen Lewis Secondary School #CBCMusicClass - YouTube CBC Music Class

The grade 11/12 instrumental class at Stephen Lewis SS (Peel District School Board) in Mississauga, ON has had a focus on original arrangements of popular music since 2012. Inspired by DJ culture, SLSS musicians are encouraged to explore the creation of mashup arrangements that combine the elements of 2 or more songs simultaneously. This video features melodic elements from 7 different songs, placed over the entire form of one song. Listen for the improvised analog synthesizer solo, that explores melody, timbre and dynamics whilst stretching the tempo and rhythm.
